Yes I did. Just added the patch into the series of patches and rebuilt.
I'm using it on my laptop - now there is new NM version in the

OK, it seems that I found when the keyboard indicator changes to the ??
text. It happens when I'm executing something with sudo in the terminal
and the thinkfinger attaches its virtual keyboard to pass the fake Enter
key after the finger is scanned.

there... I had to downgrade one package manually with dpkg to give it try :-)

netowrk-manager update (certailnly affected by bug #332945)... so it was

Anyway, there is one more problem with Network-manager itself... now it
needs also udev attribute telling whether the modem is GSM or CDMA. To

run:
gconftool -s --type bool /apps/update-notifier/auto_launch false
restart X and you are done. It's working for me.

I'm running Karmic and had some troubles with splash screen and
framebuffer setting, so I removed the splash screen (well usually I
suspend/resume the laptop, so why to care about splash ;-). This has
revealed one unexpected behavior when I do updates which require system

Actually I removed thinkfinger from Jaunty due to the issue described.
This has happened also when I plugged in external USB keyboard which has
gone after upgrade to current Karmic (xorg, xkb, x-whatever), so I
started to use thinkfinger again and I'm not affected with this issue
anymore.

I also tried start capture without promiscious mode... does not help.
When clicked on Capture Options, the capture dialog appears and the system is
locked before the capture even starts...
Tcpdump works correctly.

it works only with user rights (I can capture from eth0, lo and any). If
I start wireshark (1.2.0) with root permissions, I can also see USB
devices in the interface list, but starting capture ends with the same

It was device/video configuration problem with config from older ekiga
version (3.2.0). I don't have any v4l device on the system, so the xml
conf was Device not found (PTLIB/V4L2) translated into Czech, see
attached file. I renamed it and now ekiga starts and in the
configuration I can choose
Today I did another reboot and noticed that the issue has disappeared.
Might be fixed by upstart: 0.6.2-1

The same here... power on PC, wait for boot, logon into Gnome and wait
few seconds. Just one unusual setup in my config - I have the
update-notifier in notification area rather than popup window via
unsupported gconf setting done.. see bug #332945 - that might be the
way to reproduce the crash
I have ubuntuone-client installed version 0.93.1-0ubuntu1 but the bug
didn't disappear its not fixed.

I'm using vesafb (having 80x25 VT on 24 screen is quite ugly) and nvidia
binary drivers.
If I don't get blue/white lines during startup, then Enter is working fine.
If I see blue/white lines (but they are flickering, looks like something else
is trying to clear the screen), then there is Enter
Using SSH to get to the system affected by Enter freeze:

I have the same troubles with reading DVD resulted in I/O error or seek
failed and not working hw eject button.
I confirm that (as noted in bug #436767) if you reboot with the CD/DVD
in the tray then it is able to read the whole disc, even after changing
the disc... the hw eject button does not
The same happened to me with Czech translation

ubuntuone-preferences crashed with ImportError in module()
Hi,
I totally forgot about this bug I filled... nowadays bluetooth does not
crash after suspend/resume, it comes up just disabled even though LED on
the Thinkpad shows it is active. Enabling it from the applet usually
helps.
I've found following patch https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/82254/ to
Downgrading all firefox* packages to previous version (3.6+nobinonly-0ubuntu2)
has solved the issue.
Beware, bad-version-firefox is still running eventhough you closed the window
and it has disappeared. Kill command needs to be used to really close the app.

But not just to waste digital space I have to add, that I saw graphical
boot with Nvidia graphic card. It was working for about 2 days on lucid
(daily updated) and what I can recall is that it was between nuoveau and
lbm?-nuoveau (real module name, not alias)
according to this log the amd64 version was built correctly (version
1:3.2.1-5). But I'm still getting some unsatisfied dependencies

Ubuntu 11.04 daily updated. I'm using Gnome classic desktop, not unity.
After recent update there is bug in windows decorations (?)... if the
window is maximised, but isn't focused, then its title bar is hidden. I
assume this was caused by some change done for Unity as there maximised
