Jaakan, this looks like normal synaptic behavior to me. Some packages do
have screenshots, others don't. Synaptic also does not cache downloaded
screenshots.
The only possible bug here would be that images do not show up for every

I have a feeling this maybe a duplicate
After checking some howto's on making bootable flash drives, I think the
possible cause of this problem is that a default installation of 8.10
has syslinux 3.63 instead of the 3.71 (the required version for the
howto's). If you use [a] version earlier than 3.71 to do the following
command, the

make this work is to use policykit - much like the way we do now to
mount/umount disks.
