My screen freezes when I try to use the nvidia(or nv) driver for my
Geforce2 MX/MX 400 card in Dapper. I've heard other people also
complaining with some nvidia video cards.

Confirmed, seems to be an issue related only to Broadcom drivers.
However, the bug in my case is slightly different - I actually use the
b43 driver, but the Connection Information window doesn't show what the
driver is at all(see attached screenshot).
Ubuntu 8.04, nm-applet 0.6.6, Linux laptop

I use Xgl on an Acer Aspire 5100-5023 laptop:
AMD Turion64 x2 TL-56 (1.6GHz)
ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 (256MB shared memory)

After starting with --debug I was able to use it for almost a week without a
single crash until now.
The problem seems to be with the flash player extension, however this time it
just hanged - didn't just disappear as previous times.
I have like 512mb of ram and 1gb swap and I've been using
I didn't notice swap ehxaustion, I'll be watching it next time.
Interesting thing is that it happens even 5 seconds after launching firefox, so
I don't know if the problem could be related to swap.
No particular website causes it on a regular basis.

When moving or resizing the window of gnomemines, the game pauses
automatically and the Press to resume button appears even if the game
was never started, no matter that the window is on focus all the time.
That's a quite annoying behaviour

And I had to remove ~/.gconf/desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/ to get rid of
the error message that appears every time I login.

Since it turned out that installing the fglrx package doesn't
automatically run 'aticonfig --initial', I've attached log files for
both when xorg.conf is not present and when it is generated by running
'aticonfig --initial', along with the generated xorg.conf file.

This is not a bug, I only had to check the software sources and tick the
