This is still a problem for me on jammy jellyfish.
I found an older debian bug #801769 which addresses the issue not by
modifying the mounted check (now in /lib/os-probes/50mounted-tests) but
by simply adding entries from /dev/mapper/* to to the partitions() list
in the main os-prober script.
I use Oracle Virtual Box 7.0.
Host is MX-Linux 23.2
Ubuntu 24.04 notated that the hypervisor was unsupported, change to a supported
hypervisor. It must of been the version of virtual box.

Sure, I just tested it and I get to the (same) Result I was getting
while performing preliminary Investigations. The boot time is around 22
Seconds (down from the Original 300 Seconds).

I cannot reproduce this behaviour. I set `Send error reports to Canonical` to
`Automatic` and it worked on my noble laptop:

Yeah I can do that, that's lower-priority ish. The good thing is that it
works. If I cannot see what's happening, that's secondary, I can just
look at `dmesg` once the boot is completed, if I really wanted (or
`/run/initramfs/initramfs.debug`).
Will you write a Patch for this issue here, like you

to Canoncail` to Automatic. Then generate a crash (eg. divide-by-zero from
chaos-marmosets package), the .upload fill is missing, hence whoopise does not
send the error to the error tracker.
