[Bug 786952] Re: Wacom Bamboo Pen - Pressure too sensitive
Try messing around with MaxZ value in 10-wacom.config (or 50-wacom.config) in /usr/lib/X11/xorg.conf.d/. I had similar issue on my Lenovo TabletPC, and it turns out that setting MaxZ value to 256 (or close) solved the pressure issue - maybe this is the same problem. Lenovo has 256 steps of pressure I guess, you may need to change it to somethink like 512 or 1024 (or even 2048) in Bamboo. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/786952 Title: Wacom Bamboo Pen - Pressure too sensitive -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 384754] Re: mousetweaks went to 100% cpu load and X system is frozen
@Francesco: thx for the advice. And to the unavoidable left click: it makes synthetic right click quite useless, I mean - consider opening link in new tab from popup menu on web browser, or worse: get properties of some big file, which you don't want to open - just get popup menu from file browser - it opens anyway. Have you considered achieving this with xdotool for example? (http://www.semicomplete.com/projects/xdotool/). Sure mousetweeks will then dependend on this package, but this will give us way more flexibility (and from what I know, xdotool is in Ubuntu repos). I found xdotool very usefull in tablet-pc, as I can trigger simple command (say: xdotool click 3 for right-mouse-button) and bind it to any key on keyboard on soft-key on tablet-pc. And it doesn't depends on left-mouse-click in any way. What do you think about that? -- mousetweaks went to 100% cpu load and X system is frozen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/384754 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

huh - I realized that my idea doesn't makes any sense since mousetweaks MUST rely on left-mouse-click anyway :-)) -- mousetweaks went to 100% cpu load and X system is frozen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/384754 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 384754] Re: mousetweaks went to 100% cpu load and X system is frozen
@Francesco: I had the same problem as Helmut's with gksu. I removed at-spi and tried mousetweaks from your PPA. Problem seems to be gone. But another thing I've noticed (not sure if this issue was in original mousetweaks): when I release left mouse button after after a while (to get right-click effect), right-click effect occurs, but so does the left-click (for example: trying to open file/dir/link menu with holding left mouse button opens right mouse button menu but also opens file/dir/link. I guess this left-click should be somehow blocked when mousetweaks timeout reaches it's end. Same problem here: Two soundcards (1. onboard Intel (HDA), 2. PCI SB Audigy (CA0106)); after rebooting, Gnome sound settings (almost) always sets back HDA as the default sound mixer.
