I experienced this bug briefly just now. My report is similar to owen's
above.
My steps to reproduce:
1. Set BIOS boot order to: (1) CD Drive (2) HDD
2. Insert FreeDOS CD and boot
3. Select 'q' to quit the FreeDOS boot and boot from HDD
4. Log in and get the dialog A program is still running...
I'm using Lucid, and I'm pleased to report that the bug is no longer
reproducible.
(Unfortunately I uncovered another bug whilst testing - it doesn't

try I get the message The item could not be renamed. Sorry, could

I've been having this problem:
- Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 (all updates in place)
- Two different machines, one 64-bit and one 32-bit.
- The problem is intermittent. Sometimes it happens on resume, and other times
resume works fine.
- Restarting the machine always gets it working again.

Sorry guys. All the research I did told me to use ESFW30.BIN, but ended
up using Snape25.BIN. The articles posted for the snapscan E25 scanner
should refer to the right driver in the future. Not your fault.
Thank you,

Hi john,
You say that you can access the second drive from win XP, But not recognized
for ubuntu. First of all, download a program called Partition Manager, and
change that (large disk) hard drive's partition to fat 32X, and make it
bootable. Secondly, make sure your jumpers are set to Master.
