I can confirm that Ramundo's suggestion to move the /usr/share

isn't a kernel bug after all but rather something to do with a common

for basic things, but not for my OpenGL development
A definite workaround is to use gdm instead of lightdm, I just tested it
and it works, so this is a lightdm problem.

I'm trying to setup an Apple Time Capsule, and couldn't get it to work
with either java-6-sun or java-6-openjdk (Ubuntu 10.04). It runs,
however, if you temporarily switch to java-gcj with:

Binary package hint: indicator-applet
Every second or third time the computer boots up, the shutdown icon is
missing, and my username appears twice. The date/time indicator is often
cut-off and unusable. Running pkill gnome-panel fixes it (for the
session).
