Public bug reported: Create a simple spreadsheet and apply the auto filter. Apply one of the filters on one of the columns. If you delete two colums and then try to delete some more or even remove filters Calc will crash. This does not happen with the official build from OOo's website.

Just to help confirm/refute the BIOS/motherboard hypothesis I tried the device on my laptop also running 13.04. Exactly same faults (unusable precision using touch and buttons not working, the pen works fine). If you like I could boot 12.04 to re-confirm it's a regression and try 12.10 to help

[Bug 1257121] [NEW] Virtual Machine Manager window doesn't maximise properly

2014-01-30 Thread Phill

[Bug 1181166] Re: 056a:00d6 [Asus V-P5G45] Bamboo Pen and Touch - Buttons not working and Touch Unusable

2014-02-11 Thread Phill
Just tried Trusty. The pen seemed to work as it does in other version (including the rocker button on the pen - thought I'd clarify as I don't think I have before, it's only the buttons on the pad that don't work). Touch movement appears to have improved, but it's still not as good as the

[Bug 620074] Re: Thrashing turns system unusable

2013-05-08 Thread Phill
Are we sure this has been fixed? I'm on 13.04 and it certainly becomes unusable when a program gets hungry (usually it'll be Firefox or, unrelated, something using python). I've used all the recent Ubuntu's and they've all suffered from it, no exception. What's worse is that switching and logging
