Create a simple spreadsheet and apply the auto filter. Apply one of the
filters on one of the columns. If you delete two colums and then try to
delete some more or even remove filters Calc will crash. This does not
happen with the official build from OOo's website.
If you open this spreadsheet and apply the autofilter. You should be
able to delete up to three rows. If you delete four or more Calc hangs
with Adapt Row Height in the status bar. I'll add a screenshot too from
Edgy Eft, the packages in dapper-proposed also hang on large row
deletes. After

for example, rows 12 to 14 (with row 13 hidden), row 13 also gets
deleted. This means data gets unintentionally deleted and this is not
how any version of Excel behaves.

on Linux and Windows) but there is still a patch that exists for ooo-
build (linked to above) to fix something that now works. Can we now
have the patch removed as it looks like this is causing the problem.

menu appears ok then. I always close it and virtually never use it, but

As soon as I'm through the bootloader and the Ubuntu logo is shown, press
Escape to see the messages underneath and all it says is:
init: plymouth-upstart-bridge main process [a pid] terminated with
status 1: unable to connect to system bus: Failed to connect to socket
Fixed.
Couldn't remove package plymouth providing /bin/plymouth-upstart-bridge
because mountall depends on it and nothing in the plymouth-upstart-
bridge config file looked relevant so I just copied /bin/true over /bin
/plymouth-upstart-bridge and now my machine boots in about 5 seconds.

I just changed the screen refresh rate on Ubuntu 10.04, and the mouse cursor
disappeared. Tired lots of different solutions found by google. Only opening up
terminal and pressing enter works, and then the mouse cursor only comes back
when it is moved over the terminal
Can confirm - install and remove buttons do nothing. Clean install of

device on my laptop also running 13.04. Exactly same faults (unusable

It is possible to configure npm to use HTTP rather than HTTPS and this
solves the problem, but HTTPS is preferred.

When adding a SIP account to online accounts, the settings area is blank
for over a minute then the settings appear - but you can hit the
cancel/done button and there's no indication in the UI that it's busy .
It just looks like it doesn't work unless you persivere and wait

I done a little more testing. If you cat /dev/input/wacom-touch
clicking the buttons does dump some output to the console, so it's
getting that far. Hope that helps. Let me know if I can do anything
productive to help fix this.

I may be having this same problem but currently unsure as it seems to be
tied to Skype use for me, although this might just be a coincidence - my
computer is rarely heavily loaded. It was the fact that the other
terminals still work that's made me this this is the same issue that I'm
having.
