I updated today from 7.10 to 8.04 beta (using sudo update-manager -d)
and had the same problem, but I fixed it just booting with 386 kernel
and running
sudo update-initramfs -k all -u

because DeVeDe can't know the true reason why SPUMUX fails. That's why
it says Maybe; it just presumes that the error is (maybe) that you ran
out of free disk space :)

Also, the window in the final desktop looses the focus, forcing to click

I changed the shape of the buttons to have 3D look, but I dislike the
final appearance. I attach two captures, the first one with non-
homogeneous buttons, which looks quite ugly because each one has a
different width, and the second one with homogeneous buttons, which
makes the interface too
This is the capture with homogeneus buttons (bugzilla only allows for
one attach per message). As I comment in the previous comment, this
arrangement looks excesively wide.

Just a suggestion: check the filesize and test if the bug is triggered
with filesizes between 2 and 4 gigas, 6 and 8, 10 and 12 and so on. If
that's the case, then the problem can be because nautilus is using STAT
instead of STAT64. I had a similar problem some time ago and is was due
to that.

Prueba a ejecutarlo como
/usr/bin/devede_debug
a ver si así...
Si no, ejecutalo con
devede ~/devede.debug 21
que es lo que hace el script devede_debug. Con eso deberías conseguir el
fichero de depuración.

The latest karmic upgrades made this bug appear on my system. I have a
Creative Labs Live! Card (EMU10K1) that used to work fine under wine. I
tried a completely new wine configuration but neither ALSA or OSS work.
I tried the 'Test Sound' button under winecfg as well as actually
starting a few
False alarm. I remembered that I removed pulseaudio a while ago to fix
some sound issues, and thought I might as well try to install it again
to see if that helps. It didn't, but I discovered the package
padevchooser along the way which showed me that sound infact worked, but

I can get F2-F4 to work in emacs by using the escape sequences echoed in
gnome-terminal when pressing them together with a modifier but CTRL-F1
does nothing at all. It seems it is a shortcut for something but I can't
