this point this bug is not valid in lucid's ec2-init. I have no plans

volumes, you can actually stop the instance, modify the kernel and
ramdisk attribute and boot the instance with new kerne/ramdisk.
This would actually provide a usable mechanism for updating the kernel

This isn't easily fixable in euca2ools. I'm moving this from euca2ools
to boto, and subsequently will open a task against Eucalyptus.
The real problem is in Eucalyptus putting 'n/a' as the value for

On lucid beta1 kvm, with lucid beta-1 server install
