verify this bug in the main repository (I transplanted a revision, and
it worked fine).
This does sound like an upstream bug, so I'd report it there. If we can
find a way to reproduce it, and a patch that can be applied to the
Public bug reported:
We want to sync from testing for precise, so we'll need some SRUs.
I've added preliminary support for spotting LTSs to distro-info so that
we can do this automatically in the future.

subscribe yourself to mc's bugs (for at least a couple of months).
* I see that Debian's mc team is subscribed to Ubuntu bug mail, but they seem
rather inactive at the moment. So please
err /etc/mc/Syntax was a file not a directory. Going from the source and
Debian bug #539917, it looks like /usr/share is the correct place for
it, it'll be overridden by /etc/mc/Syntax, should that exist.
However, /etc/mc/Syntax was a conffile and the new package won't include
it, so it'll remain
