Also affects Ubuntu lucid 10.04.
crontabs for LDAP users are ignored on boot. You need to edit the user's
crontab or cron reload for the LDAP users crontabs to be loaded.
A work around could be to do a reload cron every time a network
interface goes up or down.
I suppose the fix would be to
the
update-motd in that case.
Or split into two services sshd-login and sshd with
/etc/pam.d/sshd-login including sshd and adding the pam_motd...

Same problem for me. I confirm that if no file have been opened with oOo there
is no problem.
I am sure I have seen somewhere a message telling that shutdown has been
cancelled because some files are still opened but I don't remember where. Is
there any log file for the graphical console, where
that there is a
special console usgin Ctrl+Alt+F8 but this doesn't work for me...)
Thanks, Stephane.

:
- slow performance for no good reason
- --nocache option is misleading
- no fsync on -d which to my mind is a bug.

the same problem than 2.6.34-020634rc7-generic. But I think that those
two issues are not related. I think the bug in the 2.6.32 is not the
