I have Asus K95VJ (Intel/Nvidia GT 635M) and am affected by this bug as well. System hangs on Gnome splash screen after installing proprietary Nvidia drivers via Additional Drivers. How come a critical bug like this still hasn't been fixed after 3-4 months? -- You received this bug notification
