Tested the issue on a Macbook with Edgy RC and the wireless is still not
detected by the system.

Binary package hint: xorg
I just tested Edgy RC on an Apple eMac (1.25Ghz) model I had sitting
around. The machines has a ATI RV280 (Radeon 9200) chipset. The
machine boots fine and usplash shows, but when it tries to start gdm
xorg fails to initialize giving the error
