hardware testing app does not handle large font
I have a dvorak layout in Hardy. Every time I start X, it is reset to qwerty
although the System|Preferences|Keyboard|Layouts still shows USA Dvorak.
To fix this, I remove USA Dvorak, choose +Add, and add USA/Dvorak. Now I
can type in Dvorak again. I have to do this every single time I start X.
You should build your own kernel and use the it821x module instead of
the pata_it821x module. I am doing this for almost 4 years now and it
works ...

Happens to me as well in Hardy.
What is really happening, is that alacarte is not updating the screen
properly. You can add an item, but it won't show it. After I added a New
Seperator, all of a sudden all my newly added items magically appeared.
Since then, alacarte seems to behave again.

well... when the bar isnt there not, I tried moving the mouse on all the 4
sides just in case but nothing appears..

saying that someone used some of the Firefox Alpha upstream code in the
Ubuntu release. Since when I attempted to install the Alpha as a
seperate installation it did indeed produce the same error.

Scrolling the xfce4-terminal with the Enter , Xorg uses too CPU.
Trying it goes at 36% of CPU.

I saw your comment about installing stock firefox into opt directory so
I tried it. Worked. So I thought to myself what about installing stock
binaries into /usr/lib. Well did that for the hell of it (figured
mozilla wasn't working right anyway). Guess what ? It also worked!

To reproduce in 11.04:
- Login with your account
- Start Banshee with and play something
- While Banshee plays the music/audiobook... switch to the guest account.
Sound will stop playing (which is fine).

The SD card reader work around does not work for me. Camera is a Leica
Digilux 3 which is basically the same camera as the Panasonic DMC-L1.
As all the above I had no issues with Hardy.
