I got the same issue on Kubuntu 7.04. Only happened once, when I started
the allplication for the first time, just after it finished the import

For me, this means I either have to use rediculously simple passwords, or else
store them somewhere I actually can paste them.
In other words: I am forced to insecure workflows and manners because seahorse
tries to make things secure for me.
Just my $0.02, I am sure many more, like me, will
I can reproduce this quite often on high MySQL and/or Apache load.
Not always, but if I get a hogging iwlagn, it most often is due to heavy load
on my local mysqld and apache.
To me, this hints towards either heavy load on the localhost/loopback network,
or towards processes with higher (?)
Has been troubling me too.
My fix around this is to change fstab and make it use the old and proven
none-uuid devices

Certainly not a /real/ solution, more a hack to make things work again,
so to say.
However, this broke several times because during
My idea is that kwallet only writes the passwords on closing.
A system crash, or hard reboot will cause all the passwords inserted in the
active session, to be lost as well.
My workaround is to autoclose the wallets every 10 minutes (paswords
will then be saved). This is safer too, but for

In kubuntu, the orgininal package comes with documentation pre-installed. So it
does not only point to khotnewstuff.
However, these docs don't exist.

Here is a screencast of how this affects me. At least in my occasion, it
seems obviously caused by many (many!) bookmarks in my menu.
Note that this is a blazingly fast machine, with lots of memory and only
SSDdrives; so the problem solves itself fast. When my bookmarks were
imported on an

I am using firefly svn-1696.
With this version of Firefly/MTdaap, Smart playlists do show up in banshee,
amarok and mplayer on n900. Though that is no proof, it appears the problem
does not lie on the mt-daap side, but is unique to Rhythmbox.

Probably the same issue here. At least, the same result.
Some more information:
* Passwords appear in seahorse correctly. I can search, see and open them
there.
* htauth (popup) passwords are (still) stored and retrieved from seahorse
correctly.
* Epiphany no longer asks for passwords to be
A good way to illustrate this, is to share a large package of files in tarred
and untarred format.
The tarred version takes about 10 minutes to be picked up, processed and
uploaded.
The untarred, several hundred of tiny textfiles, has been syncing for over 2
days and counting.

«I presume this is either due to both Gnome and Deja Dup attempting to
mount the drive, or Deja Dup not waiting until the drive has been
successfully mounted.»
Here is a trick that makes that suspicion even more probable:
1. Disconnect the drive.
2. Log out of your account, or lock the screen.
I have experienced the same issue. Unfortunately the whole of empathy

close empathy. The error would reoccur whenever I started empathy again.
A restart of my Gnome session (logout - login) solved the issue. I now

Title:
Firefox freezes when I right click or try to open
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 617012 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/617012
I would like everyone ask who participated in this bug and is affected
by this, to mark bug #617012 as affects me too. This way it might get
on the devlopers radar sooner.

Public bug reported:
As a user,
when I search for a software package,
I want to see either one, canonical option,
or I want to see clear visual cues why a software piece is listed multiple
times,
So that I either don't have to choose,
Or that I have enough visual information to make a choice.
Happens also when running `liferea-add-feed` which is a wrapper around
`liferea --add-feed`. The latter also causes a crash.
Attached is a strace log, created by running `strace -o liferea-

The project name is metamask, but launchpad does not allow this to be
added. Metamask Firefox plugin is affected, so renaming to firefox for
now.
** Bug watch added: github.com/MetaMask/metamask-extension/issues #3313
https://github.com/MetaMask/metamask-extension/issues/3313
** Also affects:
It also occurs with a freshly installed chromium.
It can be easily reproduced:
```
$ pgrep chromium | xargs kill # kill any running chromium (beware!)
$ pgrep chromium | wc -l
0 # There are non running
$ /snap/bin/chromium --product-version # command quits immediately.
$ pgrep chromium | wc -l
Not certain if this is the exact same issue, but a very similar issue
can be observed running from the commandline:
```
$ pgrep chromium | xargs kill # kill any running chromium (beware!)
$ pgrep chromium | wc -l
0 # There are non running
$ /snap/bin/chromium --product-version # command quits
Above comment comes from a bug that this behaviour introduced in a
project that uses chrome:
https://github.com/titusfortner/webdrivers/issues/168
So, besides it leaving around running processes (slightly messy) and not
closing icons (as observed by OP) it causes bugs (hanging) in scripts
and
The issues with dependant scripts like chromerunner are not solved
either.
Were external scripts considered when building this "solution" at all?
External scripts, running chromium, obviously, want the process they
spawn to exit -including any children that that process might spawn-.
