hi Pedro,
i try to do a backtrace, after following the wiki above , added all needed in
sources.list, and updated the repos, i can't do anything else coz of:
Lecture des listes de paquets... Erreur !
E: Vous avez dépassé le nombre de descriptions que cette version d'APT est

hi Pedro,
after googling about that, i follow ideas described on
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apt/+bug/24626
but increasing Apt:: cache-limit to very high value, do not resolve the problem
(bug reported on 2005 and still confirmed low !!!)
seems that:
can't find a workaround: i've disabling the last added repos to be able

workaround with Lucid:
have found why Streamtuner crash when it is associated with Audacious:
- package name in synaptic: audacious
- streamtuner setting in previous distro releases: audacious %q (for listening)
so, here is the bug:
we have to write audacious2 %q instead of audacious %q
Some more workarounds to use Streamtuner with Audacious:
To update Shoutcast: edit /etc/hosts put in 205.188.234.120

Streamtuner can use Exaile ( exaile %q) in settings, or Audacious (which
i prefer, but there are some problems)

more comments testing:
- i've checked with Windows: select xpsp3 in grub2 menu boot
boot fine, open use apps then close them finally choose to restart xp:
like with ubuntu, xp closed but system does not shut down, so can't reboot.
That makes me thinking it's rather a problem with grub2
hi WG,
it's the same subject: Unable to shut down or restart on Karmic
i can add that even after a normal shutdown ( seem ok), using power
button on keyboard, grub2 hang at grub loading. At that time i need to
power off and then make a cold boot.
So, don't matter what os is selected in grub
that's ok in Lucid now

continue to observe why xid problems happens.
Today i'm posting on a forum (forexfactory.com), using it during more than 1
hour without any xid collision. Then i open 1 more FF tab to search on google,
without opening any links provided; and xid collisions come flooding.
hi Alexander,
since final karmic release, i've added some ppa:
- ubuntu-mozilla-daily : i'm using 3.5.5 shiretoko now
- cybolic ppa
So, i confirm that there is no more xid collision seen in .xsession-
errors .
