Sorry guys - I have to me too on this one. I have a similar setup
using a D-Link NAS. Gutsy was working fine, Hardy is no good.
What I did notice was in ~/.gvfs the volume exists and I can copy etc
from there ok. it is only through the normal file management that I
get the same result as

It affected both of my machines here, one an intel 32bit with nvidia
64mb card, the other AMD64 with 256mb card GeForce 6200 TurboCache(TM).
Both use the nvidia drivers, this one is NVIDIA Linux x86_64 Kernel
Module 1.0-8762 Mon May 15 13:58:14.
I got things running again using the downgrade

I drag and drop a folder from /home/gerard (it's me!!) to the trash, and all
the icons of the Desktop disappear (including the trash).

I just tried today's daily live CD, on April 17th
1- the sensitive wifi button can be turned ON or OFF. by a finger tap (but no
display)
2- the LED, notifying whether wifi is ON or OFF, never lit
3- The only way to see wifi status is to check if the bars on the network

Wifi not active, cannot even turn the wifi sensitive button on. On top
of that, on all my computers Ubuntu automatically recognizes internet,

Sorry guys - I have to me too on this one. I have a similar setup
using a D-Link NAS. Gutsy was working fine, Hardy is no good.
What I did notice was in ~/.gvfs the volume exists and I can copy etc
from there ok. it is only through the normal file management that I
get the same result as
