[Bug 1868925] [NEW] Workspaces not spanning displays
Public bug reported: Windows are not spanning displays. When in the GNOME overview (not actually sure what it is called, when you press the super key it shows you all your windows in the current workspace and shows the various workspaces as well) ONLY the windows in that work space appear, but when you go back to the normal GNOME view the windows not on the primary monitor appear (as if workspaces were set to not span displays). I apologize about my confusing description--I do not know the GNOME terminology. If clarification is needed let me know. I have this issue on an HP laptop VH481PA#ABG (Intel graphics) https://h10057.www1.hp.com/ecomcat/hpcatalog/specs/provisioner/05/VH481PA.htm In My case it's Rythym Box is the only app that is showing. I have 2 screens with the launcher/start menu showing on both screens and I have 'Sticky Edges' switched to off. The main drawback with this bug is I can't get to any existing window like Firefox/Chrome/Vmware and have to create/open a new instance of the program. I haven't tried switching between 2D and 3D yet. I think it might have something to do with the way network drives are setup because it only happens when saving to the server, or at least I haven't seen the error when saving to my Desktop / localhost. Could not Create Backup Copy But I can click the save button on the toolbar and it works and i can use the option from the File Menu Maybe my shortcuts are conflicting or something?
