[Bug 1702265] Re: High fan speed after suspend then reboot
apport information ** Description changed: After suspend, the fan will spin up to high speed and after a few seconds the system turns off (instantly, no shutdown procedure), then boots again. Seems to me like the system thinks it is overheating, when it is clearly not. This started happening after the latest kernel update to 4.10.0.27.30; it does not occur on 4.8.0-58.63. I originally installed linux-hwe to fix https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video- intel/+bug/1573959. [Bug 1714517] [NEW] On automatic sink change, notification shows old volume level
Public bug reported: When connecting or disconnecting headphones and thus switching sink, a volume notification pops up showing the volume level of the now inactive sink instead of the new active sink. [Bug 1582213] Re: [xenial] Bluetooth device doesn't play any sound in A2DP mode unless set to HSP/HFP first
ppa:ubuntu-audio-dev/pulse-testing solves the problem for me. However, now when module-switch-on-connect is not loaded, sound will switch to bluetooth device, but neither System-Settings -> Sound nor indicator-sound make the switch to bluetooth device, making volume control unavailable without switching the setting manually. [Bug 1582213] Re: [xenial] Bluetooth device doesn't play any sound in A2DP mode unless set to HSP/HFP first
I am experiencing the same problem, however, switching to HSP/HPF and back will not work (when selecting A2DP from the dropdown menu in the audio settings, the output sink switches to internal audio and when reselecting bluetooth it is again in HSP/HPF mode). Only connecting as HSP/HPF and then switching to A2DP will allow for HiFi sound. A more convenient workaround can be found here: https://gist.github.com/pylover/d68be364adac5f946887b85e6ed6e7ae Running a2dp.py after connecting fixes the problem. The page also provides an automated solution using a dbus-loop below. [Bug 1651428] [NEW] No sound on bluetooth headset in A2DP mode on connect
Public bug reported: System: Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS Package: pulseaudio Version: 1:8.0-0ubuntu3.1 I am using module-switch-on-connect to automatically connect to bluetooth headsets. After connecting a bluetooth headset in A2DP mode, no sound is played (on any output device). If I then switch to HSP/HPF mode, it works, but switching back to A2DP mode fails completely (when selecting A2DP from the dropdown menu in the audio settings, the output sink switches to internal audio and when reselecting bluetooth it is again in HSP/HPF mode). When connecting in HSP/HPF mode and then switching to A2DP mode, it works fine, even when switching back and forth between them. [Bug 1184262] Re: [logind] stuck in PrepareForSleep, causing network and other services to not resume
I'm just going to list the symptoms I'm experiencing on Ubuntu 13.10 after most, but not all, sleep-resume cycles: - Network Manager in sleep mode (fixable by executing: 'nmcli nm sleep false', works without sudo for me) - System menu items for shutdown, reboot and sleep do nothing - Sleep mode possible with sudo pm-suspend - 'sudo shutdown now' is NOT working properly, but freezes at some point; I have not found a way to properly shut down my system. I'll go back and post the output I get when this happens, if that'll help. I would like to know if there's a way to manually tell systemd to wake up. I have not been able to find a command for this in the manpages. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1184262 Title: [logind] stuck in PrepareForSleep, causing network and other services to not resume To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/1184262/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
