[Bug 880253] [NEW] using the launcher to search and pressing enter quickly does not launch the first search result
Public bug reported: How to reproduce: press super, type in 'terminal', press enter; do all of this before the search results are displayed. Expected: the first result (ie. Terminal) is executed. Observed: the enter keypress is ignored. The problem with this behavior is that it makes you wait for the gui/search to be ready. Public bug reported: Ubuntu 11.10 (release 11.10), 64bit desktop How to reproduce: press super (start), enter terminal, press down. Expected: highlights the first result. What happened: puts focus onto something hidden, which does not respond to enter/left/right. Workaround: pressing down twice. Expected: Deskbar (button-style) window closing. What happened: The Deskbar window doesn't close, and stays on top of the newly focused window.
