Thanks Seth. Installing the deb in comment #492 finally enables touchpad scrolling on my Asus 1830T. Edge scrolling work fine now. Two finger scrolling is a bit more difficult. Perhaps I'm just not familiar with the gesture and the touch pad is so small. I haven't fiddle with the other settings
