Re: [Bug 1338555] Re: Keyboard completely unresponsive
OK. I started all over on this same laptop with a fresh install of 14.04.2 which I also updated. Then from the mainline kernel list I downloaded the three relevant files inside v3.13-trusty. After reboot the keyboard wasn't responding. Then back to v4.0-rc2-vivid/ on which the keyboard was fine. Going halfway between the two back and forth, the 'last bad commit' as you called it was v3.17-rc5-utopic/ and right above it in the list v3.17-rc6-utopic/ which was the first good one where my keyboard functioned properly. Just to confirm my results I tested v3.17-rc4-utopic/ where the keyboard also didn't respond. Moreover v3.17-rc4-utopic/ right above the first good commit was checked and the keyboard was fine. There are other details in the wiki about using github but I'm afraid they weren't very clear to me. Hope that was helpful. However when I downloaded the [v3.14-trusty/ 25-Feb-2015 09:38] kernel and installed it using [sudo dpkg -i *.deb] and then booted into it the keyboard worked fine. [Bug 641318] [NEW] mnemosyne responce slows down when cards have audio files
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mnemosyne I'm using Mnemosyne on Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS which I downloaded from the Software Center. As indicated on the author's website I divided my flashcards into categories according to subject. All the categories except one are text and they work fine. The last one is a language word pronunciation category where each of the cards has an embedded link to a .wav file which are all gathered under .mnemosyne/sounds, in total 83 files. When this category is being run there is a delay of about 1 or 2 seconds between pressing the grade button and the appearance of the following card. This delay doesn't happen in the other text categories where the transition to the next card is almost simultaneous with the pressing of the grade button for the one before it. Initially I thought that there's a problem with the .wav format so I converted all the files to .ogg but got the exact same issue. ** Affects: mnemosyne (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- mnemosyne responce slows down when cards have audio files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/641318 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Yes. I repeated the process by throwing in a bunch of files in the Desktop (Lucid), changed to 'Default zoom level' to %66 and got a similar result. [Bug 539954] [NEW] Problem switching back from virtual terminal
Public bug reported: I'm using an LG (S1 Express Dual) laptop. Whenever I switch to one of the 6 virtual terminals (ctrl+Alt+[F1-F6]) and switch back to the GuI (Alt+F7) I get the screen back for around a second and then the system sleeps (as if hybernating). It resumes after I press the power-on button of the laptop. I don't face this issue with my PC, (also 9.10). [Bug 420560] [NEW] Mouse buttons and touchpad buttons do not function properly on a Dell inspiron 6000 Jaunty (9.04) installation
Public bug reported: After installing 9.04 on a Dell inspiron 6000 the mouse buttons do not function. I repeated the installation about three times with the same result. During Live Cd session the buttons are normal even during the first few minutes of operating a hard disk installation but then the mouse can't be used to click which renders the whole installation unusable. The touchpad buttons don't function at all either. I've installed 8.10 and up to now, without the full updates, it's working fine. If it's of any benefit I could repeat the whole 9.04 installation procedure to supply the developers with more info. [Bug 394598] Re: Quickbuild tool not found
I tried to reload Default tools but it didn't solve the problem. Meanwhile, I found that compilation works in case of a new file. It is only when I work with a previous kile project done before that compilation failed.
