Funny you should mention that. I actually did yesterday try the 5.6.0-1032-oem
kernel because that is the one that this machine was apparently certified under

what I'm seeing is just a different bug. Steps to reproduce:
1. Download any .deb package that ordinarily adds a launcher to the
menus. I used the latest Google Chrome package from Google.
