I thought we had deactivated the github bugtracker because flashrom
development does not happen at github.
The github mirror of flashrom is there purely for people who are
unwilling or unable (due to corporate restrictions etc.) to download the
source code from our self-hosted git trees. I'll

If anyone is interested, I can dig up my test scripts which I used to
test flashrom, but I do not have
flashrom does have built-in self tests and also supports external tests,
but apparently that is not well-known.
If your build VM supports flash chip host controller emulation and flash
chip emulation, you can run flashrom with root privileges against the
emulated hardware.

Same issue with printing files from Firefox (and sometimes other applications)
in Bionic with a Brother HL5250DN.
The used driver does not matter (BR-Script3, PCL, PS).

The most significant change in Strongswan 5.6.0 for existing users is an
improvement of the IKEv2 CHILD_SA rekeying behaviour which should
eliminate any chance

peer-to-peer IPsec even if both peers are behind NAT. IPsec mediation is
somewhat similar to STUN and requires a publicly reachable third party which
helps with mediation.

Fixed upstream in strongswan 5.2.2. Maybe a backport of any recent
strongswan to trusty would be helpful.
