[Bug 1532226] Re: A significant number of fresh boots or restarts result in no menus for most apps

2016-04-08 Thread Eduar Arley Cardona
As asked in #27, on my fully updated system, I've created
~/.config/upstart/unity-panel-service.conf, and then rebooted. However,
with both options "started" and "starting", menus still doesn't works on
a fresh boot. I've rebooted several times with both options, and there's
no menu present in Nautilus or Gedit. However, menus always works in
Chromium.

Also, as #39 says, if I logout/login back, the menus always works ok.

[Bug 1562161] Re: Installer crashes on final steps

2016-03-25 Thread Eduar Arley Cardona
As a sidenote: I've reinstalled Kubuntu in same computer, using same
partitioning schema. however, I've kept English language at the
beginning. That way, there is no keyboard error, and installation finish
successfully. Seems the error is related to Spanish language.

Thanks!

[Bug 1457776] Re: virtualbox-dkms 4.3.10-dfsg-1ubuntu5: virtualbox kernel module failed to build

2015-08-20 Thread Eduar Arley Cardona
Just an update

In same machine, I've installed:
sudo apt-get install linux-headers-generic-lts-trusty
linux-image-generic-lts-trusty

After that, I've rebooted with that kernel:

3.13.0-62-generic

Once rebooted, VirtualBox works OK, and all VMs works as expected.

If I reboot again with vivid kernel, VirtualBox stops working.

So, seems like a problem with 3.19.0 kernel.

Hi Daniel. thanks! However, this is NOT a duplicate of bug #1076603.
That bug is about kernel Linux 3.5.0-18-generic x86_64, and this bug is
about kernel Linux 3.8.0-29-generic i686. Please note that virtualbox
will propably install OK on Ubuntu 12.04.2, but IT DOESN'T WORS with
12.04.3, as kernel version changed in last one.

No se pudieron instalar algunos paquetes. Esto puede significar que
usted pidió una situación imposible o, si está usando la distribución
