Yes, I've been suggested to change the Replaces: dependency with Breaks: and I
guess this is wrong. ;)
Also, I'm getting back with archs restriction, as i386 and amd64 are the
only platforms currently supported upstream. I removed overrides
specific to other archs as well.

Just in case, I also would suggest to refresh source orig tarball, as it
currently expands to sdlmame0136 instead of sdlmame-0.136. You can both
download the original .zip and repack it manually or use the get-orig-
source target
This can be closed - I believe the next kernel update fixed it, though
it has been a while, so I'm not positive about that. In any event, it no
longer happens.

retrieving whatsnew.txt from the net is just a quick fix for the current
release. Upstream maintainers didn't bother to repack the zipfile, but
it will be back with 0.137. Putting whatsnew.txt in debian would require
some changes in debian/rules. If you feel it would be cleaner,
