I see this problem when trying to copy files under folders to my Android phone.
I see the same error and then I see that the first folder was created but
nothing else was copied. If I only send files (no folders at all) I don't see
the error anymore. So I manually have to create all my folders

The only way to fix it is killing nemo and restarting it. After that the key

@gckarakostas In Ubuntu Saucy, this workaround doesn't work anymore. Sometimes
launching an app that isn't on the launcher can reset it, but it's not all the
time so I wouldn't consider it a workaround by any means. Hopefully a fix is on
the way.

working fine now. You just have to reset unity, the icons won't be

Hey Launchy, have you tried doing a clean install? Even in a separate
partition, just to test. I don't have my laptop with me at the moment to
try, but Ubuntu has always had problem with updating. The only way to
get a new version of Ubuntu is a clean install. I think I'll be able to
try 13.10
Does this mean that if I update to the latest saucy, all packages from
repo, this issue is resolved? Or are the changes still in the process of
getting approved, or something similar, and we'll have to wait until we
see this update pop-up in Ubuntu 13.10?

This is so annoying!!! Besides not being able to set up my own set of keys
(pressing both shifts keys) the default Super+Space doesn't work at all. I'm
trying different combinations but many are not accepted and only horrible ones

kill the npviewer.bin process so I can reload the page and the pdf can
be seen again. There's no way to kill the acroread process, nothing will

I've added the Unity ppa, and I can't install the pacakge unity
3.8.12-0ubuntu2~mh3.
I downloaded manually the .deb file (from Michael ppa), try to install it and
then I realize the problem, I got the message:
Dependency is not satisfiable: unity-common (= 3.8.12-0ubuntu2~mh3)
So, I went

updated, I still have the same problem. My system sees that there's a new
version and the only way is to force it just to produce the same behavior than
before.
The only thing I've notice is that I don't have the Unity

version is lower than the unity-updates, if I try to force a version of the
package Unity, unity-desktop gets uninstall and hence unity gets uninstall, so
