This appears to be fixed in the current incarnation of "Ubuntu Software" (snap-store 3.36.0-82-g80486d0 in Ubuntu 20.10): the two sudo lines show as expected. However it does not 'hide' the dot between the first and second paragraphs. That's a relatively minor presentation bug however. **
