Upgraded yesterday to Ubuntu 12.10 and I keep getting grub rescue
prompt. Tried boot-repair from Live-USB and here's the pastebin -

Thanks a lot for your help. Here are the results:
1) Did not have /updates/ in the filename
2) Installed the package linux-alsa-driver-modules-2.6.35-28-generic. No change
in stuation. Attached the output from http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh

I am willing to do the ground work and provide more info. Could someone
knowledgeable please at least guide me as to how I should proceed?
