[Bug 1585551] Re: gnome-settings-daemon leaking memory after idle

2017-03-04 Thread Homayoon Vafamehr
Even though I didn't do anything and it fixed itself, But I can confirm
that I have a dual monitor setup. a qHD display that my Intel CPU cant
support by default at max resolution and I have to use xrandr to add
custom resolution on X initiation.

[Bug 1585551] [NEW] gnome-settings-daemon leaking memory after idle

2016-05-25 Thread Homayoon Vafamehr
Public bug reported:

Hi

When my system goes to idle (lock and black screen), GDM starts to get
slow. and if I let it be in idle for longer time it will be more and
more slow.

Also at this point the gnome-shell is slow too and gnome-settings-daemon
starts to leak memory. again with more idle time gnome-shell will be
more slow an gnome-settings-daemon will leaks more memory from 7MB up to
more than 7GB. (ending process of gnome-settings-daemon and restarting
shell with "r" command fixes these problems until next idle)

I'm using gnome ppa (ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3)

I have reported a bug for GDM3 too

[Bug 1245040] Re: taking chromium-browser full-screen and then not doesn't repaint non-chromium-browser part of screen

2013-10-27 Thread Homayoon
this bug isn't affected only on chromium!
I had this problem in lots of applications!

chromium-browser 29.0.1547.65-0ubuntu2
gnome-media-player 0.1.3-0ubuntu4
evince 3.10.0-0ubuntu2
vlc 2.0.8-1

some of them are solved. but still I have this problem with chromium.
and 1 more thing: 10 minutes ago I had this problem with gnome media player.
but now its working fine.

[Bug 1242109] Re: Ubuntu System Settings - default applications not working properly

2013-10-27 Thread Homayoon
I have this bug too
Some times I can't set default applications neither in "System
Setting>Details>Default Applications" nor with "right click on the file and
select the default application in properties dialog".

I checked the "mimeapps.list" file in "~/.local/share/applications/",
and saw by every try to set default application, it doesn't edited as it
should.

DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.10
Package: gnome-control-center 1:3.6.3-0ubuntu44
Uname: Linux 3.11.0-12-generic x86_64
Nautilus version: GNOME nautilus 3.8.2
