[Bug 1744031] Re: Bluetooth stops working when wifi is in use
Luckily, I still have kernel 4.10.0-19.21 from U17.04 available and it works ok with it in U17.10, which could suggest it is a kernel issue rather the user-space one. Let me know if you need additional info or testing other kernel versions. I can live with 4.10.0-19.21 for now, but I'd rather have a supported kernel with the meltdown & spectre workarounds. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1744031 Title: Bluetooth stops working when wifi is in use To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1744031/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1744031] [NEW] Bluetooth stops working when wifi is in use
Public bug reported: Steps to reproduce: 1) Both Bluetooth & wifi is enabled in settings, but nothing is connected. 2) Connect a Bluetooth device, e.g., a mouse. It works. 3) Connect to a wifi network or create a wifi hotspot. Expected result: Both wifi and Bluetooth works, i.e., I can browse internet through the wifi connection, and my Bluetooth mouse still works. Actual result: - Wifi works, but the Bluetooth mouse stops working although it is still "connected" in Bluetooth settings. - Any attempt to disconnect & reconnect the mouse fails. - `systemctl restart Bluetooth` sometimes fails (see dmesg-hci-fail.txt), and then the system cannot be powered off ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 17.10 Package: linux-image-4.13.0-25-generic 4.13.0-25.29 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.13.0-25.29-generic 4.13.13 Uname: Linux 4.13.0-25-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.7-0ubuntu3.7 Architecture: amd64 AudioDevicesInUse: USERPID ACCESS COMMAND /dev/snd/controlC0: fenryxo1999 F pulseaudio CurrentDesktop: GNOME Date: Thu Jan 18 11:34:44 2018 InstallationDate: Installed on 2018-01-10 (7 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 17.04 "Zesty Zapus" - Release amd64 (20170412) Lsusb: Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub Bus 001 Device 004: ID 8087:0a2b Intel Corp. Re: [Bug 890712] Re: when I launch google music frame, libre office is also launched
ok, well a definite way around this is to re-install everything. Did you install same version of the system (11.04)? It seems the LibreOffice plugin might have stored some bad configuration that caused the issue. Did you tried to reinstall/purge the plugin before re-installation of whole system? I tried the disabling all plugins and even removing Firefox and it still did that, what an odd thing that happened There is currently no way how to disable plugins in Nuvola Player and both disabling plugins in Firefox and uninstalling Firefox don't have any effect to Nuvola, because Nuvola doesn't interact with Firefox at all. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/890712 Title: when I launch google music frame, libre office is also launched To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/df-libreoffice/+bug/890712/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
