[Bug 1838978] [NEW] deluged doesn't work out of the box
Public bug reported: deluge 1.3.15-2 from universe $ lsb_release -rd Description:KDE neon User Edition 5.16 Release:18.04 When using `systemdctl start deluged` it shows it's "active (exited)". No number of enables, starts or restarts change that because the init script imports `/etc/defaults/deluge` which has a variable that is configured NOT to start deluged. Even after changing the variable, `deluge-console` doesn't work because the user is unknown. The manpages don't mention the default username and password, `deluge-web` doesn't work either due to that, nor does it possess a systemd service, and I can't seem to find any information on the web how to get this working. I was forced to use a docker image (https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/deluge) since that worked way better. ** Affects: deluge (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1838978 Title: deluged doesn't work out of the box To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/deluge/+bug/1838978/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1812916] [NEW] loopback.cfg script isn't provided in package
Public bug reported: The menu entry created by `/etc/grub.d/42_grml` references `boot/grub/loopback.cfg`, but the file is nowhere to be found in the .deb nor the repo (http://git.grml.org/?p=grml-rescueboot.git;a=tree). I imagine the linux and initrd lines should be expected in there, but I don't know. This is the case at least for grml-rescueboot (0.4.7) in bionic https://packages.ubuntu.com/source/bionic/grml-rescueboot Maybe the package is missing a dep or at least the file is missing in the package itself ** Affects: grml-rescueboot (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bionic -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1812916 Title: loopback.cfg script isn't provided in package To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grml-rescueboot/+bug/1812916/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Hey Maik, Thanks for the hint! It did help and firefox is now visible. I didn't have the problem in 13.04. It seems new to 13.10, but I'm not sure if it happens because of old settings coming from KDE in 13.04 or always an issue in 13.10. Or tell me where to put the gdb breakpoint. - Running on the Gnome Fallback without effects, all is fine and I can run firefox normally ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.10 Package: firefox 25.0~b1+build1-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: User Name 3.11.0-12.19-generic 3.11.3 Uname: Linux 3.11.0-12-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx AddonCompatCheckDisabled: False ApportVersion: 2.12.5-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 AudioDevicesInUse: USERPID ACCESS COMMAND /dev/snd/controlC1: ubuntu 2241 F pulseaudio /dev/snd/controlC0: ubuntu 2241 F pulseaudio BuildID: 20130918131455 Channel: Unavailable Date: Sun Oct 20 08:57:58 2013 DefaultProfileExtensions: extensions.sqlite corrupt or missing DefaultProfileIncompatibleExtensions: Unavailable (corrupt or non-existant compatibility.ini or extensions.sqlite) DefaultProfileLocales: extensions.sqlite corrupt or missing DefaultProfilePrefSources: prefs.js [Profile]/extensions/tin...@ideeinc.com/defaults/preferences/pref.js [Profile]/extensions/foxypr...@eric.h.jung/defaults/preferences/prefs.js [Profile]/extensions/https-everywh...@eff.org/defaults/preferences/preferences.js DefaultProfileThemes: extensions.sqlite corrupt or missing ForcedLayersAccel: False IpRoute: default via 192.168.1.254 dev wlan0 proto static 192.168.1.0/24 dev wlan0 proto kernel scope link src 192.168.1.40 metric 9 MarkForUpload: True MostRecentCrashID: bp-b7b14acd-72b3-4470-a7b1-1b8752130507 Profile1Plugins: IcedTea-Web Plugin (using IcedTea-Web 1.2 (1.2-2ubuntu0.10.04.3)) - /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk/jre/lib/amd64/IcedTeaPlugin.so Google Talk Plugin Video Accelerator - /opt/google/talkplugin/libnpgtpo3dautoplugin.so Google Talk Plugin - /opt/google/talkplugin/libnpgoogletalk.so Shockwave Flash - /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so VLC Multimedia Plug-in - /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libvlcplugin.so Profile1PrefSources: prefs.js Profile2PrefSources: prefs.js Profiles: Profile0 (Default) - LastVersion=25.0/20130918131455 Profile1 - LastVersion=17.0/20121120042342 (Out of date) Profile2 - LastVersion=24.0/20130917154415 (Out of date) RelatedPackageVersions: kopete4:4.11.2-0ubuntu1 icedtea-7-plugin 1.4-3ubuntu2 totem-mozilla 3.8.2-0ubuntu2~raring1 rhythmbox-mozilla 2.99.1-0ubuntu1 RunningIncompatibleAddons: False SourcePackage: firefox UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to saucy on 2013-10-19 (0 days ago) dmi.bios.date: 06/08/2011 dmi.bios.vendor: Dell Inc. dmi.bios.version: A14 dmi.board.vendor: Dell Inc. dmi.board.version: A14 dmi.chassis.type: 8 dmi.chassis.vendor: Dell Inc. dmi.chassis.version: A14 dmi.modalias: dmi:bvnDellInc.:bvrA14:bd06/08/2011:svnDellInc.:pnInspironN5010:pvrA14:rvnDellInc.:rn:rvrA14:cvnDellInc.:ct8:cvrA14: dmi.product.name: Inspiron N5010 dmi.product.version: A14 dmi.sys.vendor: Dell Inc. ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug saucy third-party-packages -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1242262 Title: Kubuntu: Firefox running but not visible To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/1242262/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://
[Bug 1115886] Re: Can't change wallpaper unless /org/gnome/desktop/background/show-desktop-icons is true.
I would like to support the request to make this more important. You can't ship something out like this to normal customers. Changing the wallpaper is pretty basic and must work. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1115886 Title: Can't change wallpaper unless /org/gnome/desktop/background/show- desktop-icons is true. [Bug 759036] [NEW] [IDT 92HD81B1X5] ALSA test tone not correctly played back
Public bug reported: For some reason this is also time-dependent. In the morning everything works fine but in the evening it doesn't. Restart doesn't help, but booting with 2.6.32-30-generic kernel works sometimes.
