Hello.
I posted some weeks ago in pulseaudio bugtracker

an issue, but i was thinking it should be better have here the issue too
because maybe is related with other components in (K)Ubuntu system.

I uninstalled pipewire (0.3.10-4) and the profiles are always the ones
they should at every boot. I tried to install again pipewire and the
"changing profiles at every boot" appeared again. So, it's the source of
the issue.
I don't know if it was installed by the base Ubuntu or KDE/Kubuntu, or

pulseaudio log from startup, but it doesn't work. Where are the actual

Hello.
Since i installed KUbuntu 20.10 i have an issue with the audio system.
Every time i boot the system, the system audio profiles and devices are
not recognized correctly, and normally there isn't an output audio at
all and no sound. However, if i do a "killall
Ooookkk... i was searching information about this and i try some tricks
and any of them works and any of them talk about a numlockx config file.
It works like should be now, but this info is not that easy to find that
should be.
Maybe lxde-lubuntu needs some config-app for this but well, this is
With KUbuntu 15.04 (Kernel 3.19), the sound problem seems to be resolved
and now the sound is working directly. I have another problems, but i
don't think they aren't related.

I'm with a fresh install of Lubuntu 14.04.2 LTS, three days ago, and for
certain actions, the system crash and goes directly to the log
screen/greeter to log again with my user and start again the session
from the start.

I have a fresh install of KUbuntu 14.10 with this problem and i come of
a KUbuntu 13.10 without problems.
I don't have any sound from speakers or headphone, i think the driver
isn't loaded, but the microphone works, it records. The sound playback

I have this problem in Kubuntu 11.04 in Natty. I test the browsers
Firefos and Chromium with identic results. With Totem or MPlayer plugins

This affects me to.
I can boot with the last kernel used in Jaunty, but I had two kernels
installed in Jaunty, and when i upgraded to Karmic, one new Kernel was
installed but the menu.lst wasn't updated. update-grub said the same
than LimCore.
