after a very short and helpful conversation with the gnome-keyring
developers this problem is now resolved.
The problem is that the way gnome-keyring checks for public/private keys
has changed.
The old process used to check for ~/.ssh/id_?sa
now it checks for a matching public key in a *.pub for
while I chase this up with gnome (dissapointed, I'd have expected the
ubuntu package maintainer to push this upstream to the correct teams, if
I had wanted the answer contact the gnome developers - I'd have done it
myself) could this bug please get added to Maverick also.

I fully understand how hard it is to fix something that you can't replicate,

The 64bit package is still pre release and has caused problems for the
majority of in experienced users installing and trying to use it. Just

I'm going to attempt to tidy this up and put it to bed a little better.
Please don't take this as a "I don't care about konquer" situation, as
thats not the key, kubuntu/konquer are key.
I would request that there is two seperate bugs launched one for working
in opera and one for konquer,
I have now tested Brandon's fix on all supported ubuntu platforms.
Brandon - package appears functional at install time.
Some sites have minor issues, but thats down to plugin changes, not the

on Investigation, the problem appears to have various manifestations.
I've seen many other users of the same card reporting one "option" for
this cards encyption missing.
For example "open encyption" is missing for my personal situation
in terms of importance on this bug, for gnome-network, I'd request this be
assigned to medium rather then low.
Simpley on the basis that this intel card is a common card and if this bug is
confirmed then not being able to set "no encryption" is a very
feature/connection limiting factor of the i

night in detail.
I believe this is not a bug and your drive actually has a fault.
Unless you can provide evidence that your drive is working beyond "it
used to work" I suggest this bug be closed.

Questions.
1.) The updates made for gusty, will they get filtered down into fesity if
approved or will fesity not change revisions.
2.) I was wrongly from reading forum threads under the impression that the
current version of
what are you trying to install, what is the status of your disk layout,
are you using lvm or clvm or raid or just flat file systems. More
impostantly what is the status of the file system the packages are
trying to install to.
