[Bug 1024491] Re: Centrino Advanced-N 6205 wifi doesn't resume (hard blocked)
This is still the original one. Interestingly though, I now also have a different laptop at work which has the same wifi chip but is an entirely different model of laptop (ThinkPad X1 Carbon). It does not seem to exhibit this problem. So I suspect it has to do with the RF kill switch or the suspend/resume functionality, rather than the wifi driver itself. It seems to be triggered whenever the laptop is in a suspend state for a long period of time (longer than overnight). If it's suspended for a few days, it will happen reliably when I wake it up. The wake up sequence is abnormal in this case: the power button LED is no longer pulsing, it doesn't wake when the lid is opened, and I have to press the power button to wake it up. When I do, the power-on sequence is slightly different (e.g. the built- in lamp which illuminates the keyboard area briefly turns on, which usually doesn't happen during resume but does happen during cold boot). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1024491 Title: Centrino Advanced-N 6205 wifi doesn't resume (hard blocked) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1024491/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 984552] [NEW] iwlwifi intermittently losing connectivity
Public bug reported: I'm seeing symptoms similar to those described in #911059 and #948235, but I'm not sure as they're not very specific. I'm seeing intermittent loss of connectivity, where there are no errors, the connection stays up but packets are no longer getting through. I've tried going back through the past few kernels, and the problem is consistent from 3.2.0-19.30 through 3.2.0-23.36 (which seems to be current). I see no errors in dmesg or other indications of what's going wrong, but It's very easily reproducible, as it happens all the time. [Bug 970494] [NEW] Doesn't reconnect to gtalk after suspend/resume
Public bug reported: In 11.10, empathy would reliably reconnect to all of my accounts after suspend/resume. In 12.04 beta, it seems to get stuck on Google Talk. [Bug 965772] Re: mutt-org crashed with SIGSEGV
mx.c:1650 in the (patched) source seems to refer to the comment preceding the declaration of mx_update_context. [Bug 730976] Re: Missing support for animated menu icons: Could not handle image type 6
It's just happened again. By switching to another client, I'm able to deduce that the next tweet in the stream would have been http://twitter.com/#!/maxogden/status/77668660868677632 which contains a link to an animated GIF. Perhaps, it's trying to display that image inline and choking on it? But why would this be passed to dbusmenu anyway? The dbusmenu error itself seems harmless; update_icon() should just do nothing. So maybe there is actually a separate Gwibber bug here? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/730976 Title: Missing support for animated menu icons: Could not handle image type 6 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
