Yes using pdf2ps on the file and then opening/printing the postscript
file produces the correct results.

printed pdf file lacks item

When I print the attached pdf file, then the little green boxes used to
indicate items in the itemization are missing.
The boxes are perfectly visible on screen, but when printing to a pdf file or
printer or when using the pdf preview they are missing.

Skype needs to have the PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC environment variable set to work
correctly on newer ubuntus. This is already done by the skype package by
modifying the skype.desktop file:
...
Exec=env PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 skype %U
...
Unfortunately this does not help users

Adding printer from commandline does not work
I've just seen that the changes of upstream cups 1.7.0 contain:
The lpadmin command did not send the PPD name from the -m option
(rdar://problem/15264697) this might be this bug. Unfortunately I wasn't
able to build packages with 1.7.0 to test this (always had test failuers after
building).

Adding printer from commandline does not work anymore after upgrade

when I use the following command as root:

Having @reboot for users provided by ldap via sssd do not work, as their
account is only listed in the passwd database after sssd startup has
finished. Currently anacron reports something like cron[1029]:
(username) ORPHAN (no passwd entry).

At least for me it seemed like evolution always crashed when it wanted to ask
me for a password.
