In my opinion, the fix should be similar to when you want to play a mp3 the
first time.
Simply, opening a dialog that asks you to install unrar (or unrar-free).
Sorry about the 'Nominated for Intrepid' thing :S

I can confirm it.
I'm using ubuntu Hardy in a tx2000 laptop.
I can't change the cpu scaling when it's on battery mode. No problem
with power supply.

I have an iso image splitted in 42 7zip files.
They are like:

MyIsoImage.7z.003
MyIsoImage.7z.004
[...]
MyIsoImage.7z.042
Mainly file-roller doesn't detect it's a 7zip file (while 'file' command does

So I was using Detect automatically. I configured it to use ALSA
always.
Ok, it seems that I have solved it because it has not occured again.
Anyways the bug is still there.
