On open recent menu, when trying to open a listed who does no more exist
( deleted by user), nothing happens. Luciole does not display any error
message.

And so it takes a while to start ( 1 min) Whats is fun is if i run luciole directly from the source , i.e. without installing it happens just 3 times. The problem origin is in the management of the gtk.Assistant . Problem is in page_func function who returns None if we wan't to stay in the same assistant page. this is inccorect as this page_func callback have ro return an int. This is why gtk go in TypeError execpetions on some weird Runtimewaning. But I think , there are some problems on gtk.assistant to reload the same assistant page. If i reload this page ( after click on 'Next' button) , because for example luciole project data entered by user are invalid, the page is blank and another click on 'Next' Button is needed to display the widgets associated to this page. To avoid this problem, I coded a workaround : Instead of verifying project data when 'next' button is clicked : I verify data on the fly when user enter project name and path. The 'Next' button is active when project data are valid. I agree that ximagesink is faster than autovideosink But when i set ximagesink in luciole the acquisition does not feet in the window ( only a part of the image acquired is show). So I think I go to use autovideosink. Hi Fabrice I m' a bit confused on the way to apply the corrections. I provided the patch for the bugs, and in parallel also update luciole to release a 0.7.4. The upload of 0.7.4 release is automatic ? Whatever , yes we can wait the release of 0.7.4( today or tomorrow I think). And I was also still coding some new features planned for a 0.8 version. Is that possible to apply the corrections on luciole version under karmic ? via the backports ? I asked the question to explain to Luciole users how they can get a corrected version.
