I have to install teams for linux and I have been working hard for hours
to get it installed without success.
Canonical seems heel bent on making Ubuntu as unproductive as it
possibly can be.

We had the firmware 2.2.0 installed on the two machines, that did not
help.
Changelog seems to contain fixes that might help:

Within our company we have multiple Intel NUC with Intel NVMe drives
that regularly crash. Programs throw errors and hang and the filesystem
gets corrupt. When (re)booting it enters initramfs where a "fsck -y
/dev/nvme0n1p2" fixes the issues (for now).

Having this issue as well. Blinking happens on mini displayport not on
mini HDMI (running on Intel NUC with dual monitor setup). Some
applications trigger the blinking more often than others. Blinking
occurs every few minutes when working in a terminal, but it can happen
multiple times in a row.

upgrade to 14.04. I now at least have a semi-workaround when starting
the display manager with two screens:

I had sound but sound was not good so I played with the settings a
little bit. Suddenly all options are gone with only one left: Dummy
output. I dread this so much because it means that it is time to
reinstall Ubuntuagain.
I have had problems with sound before but after reinstall of Ubuntu
pulseadio -k
doesn't work
apt-get purge alsa-dha-dkms
doesn't work, there is no package alsa-dha-dkms. Must be typo or different

stopped working. I played around with the sound settings choosing
between the different options. I thought it would be wise to disable
sound for a while and then enable. This changes the sound settings.
Sound settings now show:
Play sound through: Dummy Output.
Above Test Sound the select list to choose between options is gone.

Having the same issues with a MacBookPro 4.1.
Have tried the suggested commands but the brightness doesn't change. I
can change the brightness during login and during the first +-10 seconds
after login. After this the birghtness is fixed until reboot. Suspending
the machine results in maximum
Same problem, my session logs include lines like:

Okay thanks, there are rumours on the internet that super + D is the
minimize all windows shortcut. Unfortunately that is not working. Is
there way to have similar functionality in Ubuntu as in Windows.

it is displayed with black bars at the topand bottom hence is being squeezed
vertically.

I'm also affected by this issue, however I think the message is send because I
have it as a Startup Application. On login no network connection is available,
which causes the messages and just after these messages appear a network
connection is available and everything connects properly.
If I

something else wrong.
