[Bug 165521] Re: font variants information ignored
I have problem as well. Since it's been suggested that this is a Pango issue, I can offer two points of support for that: - It doesn't occur with Scribus, which isn't linked against Pango. Inkscape is (version 1.36.3 for me). - It has actually been reported as a bug there as early as 2002: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95043 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=490609 That's not to say that Inkscape might not be able to work around it, but if any interested programmer is reading, maybe that library is a better place to start. Actually, I'd be willing to chip in for a bug bounty. Does someone know a good place to do that? One of the big projects, or bring it up on one of the Inkscape dev's Patreon sites? ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #95043 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95043 ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #490609 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=490609 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to a duplicate bug report (36876). https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/165521 Title: font variants information ignored To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/165521/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1434351] Re: X fonts and widgets disappear after suspend/resume cycle
Oh dear, I didn't think apport-collect would submit more than just an attachment. For what it's worth, the bug wasn't in effect while doing that, I had to read the menus. Same situation as above - Intel video, Xubuntu, only for me the bug appeared only after updating to 16.04. General system information & a screenshot are attached. ** Attachment added: "Screenshot_2016-05-01_10-21-05.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1434351/+attachment/4652692/+files/Screenshot_2016-05-01_10-21-05.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1434351 Title: X fonts and widgets disappear after suspend/resume cycle To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1434351/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 812269] [NEW] Publish queue
Public bug reported: It would be great to have "publishing queues" so as to be able to add files while checking them to a queue ti be uploaded later (since watching items and uploading can't be done at the same time). Files from different folders could be added, and the queue could be paused and resumed depending on the bandwidth needs at a certain time. ** Affects: shotwell (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/812269 Title: Publish queue To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shotwell/+bug/812269/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Re: [Bug 687692] Re: Realtek 8191SEvB wireless card drops connections and can't reconnect without reboot
I have a 64 bit processor and I have had this problem for a while. -- Sent from my Android phone with K-9 Mail. Please excuse my brevity. seidos <687...@bugs.launchpad.net> wrote: according to this forum thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1635892&page=2 the problem doesn't occur in x64 version. If you have a 64bit processor (intel or amd) then you should try the x64 version of ubuntu. i would be curious to see how many individuals have this chipset on systems with x86 processors. -- You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/687692 Title: Realtek 8191SEvB wireless card drops connections and can't reconnect without reboot Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I just purchased a Thinkpad 410s which for the most part Ubuntu works with fantastically out of the box (suspend and hibernate both work, 3D works, sound works). But the wifi occasionally gets disconnected, and when that happens it becomes impossible to reconnect without a reboot -- network manager will ask for the key as if it had been rejected, and then if I click ok it will try for awhile and eventually say I'm disconnected. I primarily have seen this when connecting to a WPA protected network, but I believe it's also happened on an unprotected network (where it doesn't ask for a key obviously but still can never reconnect). I played with toggling networking/wireless in the network manager context menu but it didn't have any effect on whether I could reconnect. The laptop also has a physical switch for turning the wireless on and off, but it made no difference either.
