I had the same issue with PAM errors on ubuntu 14 LTS with Dovecott
refusing to authenticate users and deny email.
I removed libpam-smbpass and a few mins later all my email clients
started to work.
maybe because of updates to systemd? there was also PAM updates

Installing gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly and then wiping the DB from within
Rhythmbox (Ctrl-A Right click Remove) and re-importing fixed the
issue, but also wiped the contents of my playlists — expected, but less

The hdf5-tools package contains several compiler wrapper-related files which
should instead be distributed with libhdf5-*-dev. Namely,
/usr/bin/h5c++
/usr/bin/h5cc
/usr/bin/h5fc
/usr/share/man/man1/h5c++.1.gz
Instead of moving these files between packages, another possible
solution would be to have the libhdf5-*-dev packages prereq hdf5-tools.
Note also that neither the libhdf5-*mpi*-dev nor the hdf5-tools packages
installs the 'h5pcc' MPI-parallel compilation wrapper script.

Can confirm in up to date Maverick.
To reproduce:
1) open guake - (note the transparency of the window).
2) insert new tab.
The new tab should have the same level of transparency as the first tab,
instead it is completely opaque.
Could this be something to do with compiz? Obviously without

error in the Notify OSD bubble that said I have a capabilities mismatch and
that I am running a newer client than the server. I guess this is because the
old data wasn't fully removed because u1sdtool --quit didnt work? Ive attached
the files you requested.

Still having this problem with my internal bluetooth card on a fresh install on
Karmic on a hp compaq nc6000.
laptop spec here:
I cant find any info on the actual name of the hardware on the hp site, but I
can vaguely remember it being referred to as 'Bluetooth by HP' on XP. But that
was a
Ssame problem here on several fresh installs of karmic.
the machines are hp compaq nc6000 and a number of hp D530 's.

One more thing, I'd just like to say that this problem was not present
in Jaunty. The bug doesn't effect any thing other than the 'smoothness'
of log in. It just seems to be a bit of a shame after all the effort put
into to the look and feel of the karmic login, that the final stage of
the login
