Using a Google Hangout, from Firefox, or Chromium. FF Uses GoogleTalk
Plugin, Chromium uses its own embedded version.

When I invoked apport-bug, I even specified that this problem was a

We were dependent on the updated versions of avconv to correct this Bug.
I did look into packaging the latest version from upstream which would
correct this issue, but that turned out to be significantly more complex
then I anticipated.
However, I returned to testing the again using Kdenlive

Pre-release update sources pulled in plasma 5.1.95 with all its kwin
updates. This has corrected the problem for me, and robust testing over
the last 24hours has not repeated the issue.

This is not a Bug, it is the correct behavior. The Clip Monitor window
has 3 Tabs (Clip_Monitor, Project_Monitor, Record_Monitor)
The Clip Monitor is supposed to play the clips in your project tree. It
is the Project_Monitor the you use to play the Project in time line.

Hello folks
I decided to test this out in a V_Box build. In Trusty 14.04 with
Xubuntu desktop installed this problem does not occur, Kpatience runs
perfectly, see screen capture.
