[Bug 282809] Re: Kosovo is missing from the list of countries and regions
I'd semi-quote another bug report in KDE: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=303942 I believe there is a strict policy in this regard of only implementing support for countries that have a) been recognised by the UN or b) had a Country Code issues by the ISO. Instead of trying to add Kosovo separately in each distro, I would suggest filing an inclusion report at ISO or UN in order to get recognized properly. Until then, I think this is not a proper way to add regional info specifically for each Linux distro. ** Bug watch added: KDE Bug Tracking System #303942 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=303942 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/282809 Title: Kosovo is missing from the list of countries and regions To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/localechooser/+bug/282809/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1013981] [NEW] New upstream release: skype 4.0 for linux
Public bug reported: There is a new upstream release for skype: http://www.skype.com/intl/en/get-skype/on-your-computer/linux/ http://blogs.skype.com/linux/2012/06/skype_40_for_linux.html Quote: You will find four major changes in this release: We have a new Conversations View where users can easily track all of their chats in a unified window. Those users who prefer the old view can disable this in the Chat options; We have a brand new Call View; Call quality has never been better thanks to several investments we made in improving audio quality; and We've worked on improving video call quality and have also extended support for more cameras. Of course, we have loads of other small improvements and fixes. As you can imagine, the list is so long it would take too much time to write it all, but some are worthy of mention: improved chat synchronization new presence and emoticon icons the ability to store and view phone numbers in a Skype contact's profile much lower chance Skype for Linux will crash or freeze chat history loading is now much faster support for two new languages: Czech (flag:cz) and Norwegian (flag:no) ** Affects: skype (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1013981 Title: New upstream release: skype 4.0 for linux To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/skype/+bug/1013981/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 965467] [NEW] [MIR] Please transfer libgxps 0.2.2-1 (universe) to main
Public bug reported: Intro: libgxps is a GObject based library for handling and rendering XPS documents. OpenXPS or XPS stands for XML Paper Specification. It is based on XML and it's a new electronic paper format originally developed by Microsoft and it serves as a PDF alternative. XPS files are usually created using Microsoft XPS Document Writer in Windows environments. It is now standardized as an open standard document format. Quoting Wikipedia: An XPS file is in fact a Unicoded ZIP archive using the Open Packaging Conventions, containing the files which make up the document. These include an XML markup file for each page, text, embedded fonts, raster images, 2D vector graphics, as well as the digital rights management information. The contents of an XPS file can be examined simply by opening it in an application which supports ZIP files. The OpenXPS document format specification supports features such as color gradients, transparencies, CMYK color spaces, printer calibration, multiple-ink systems and print schemas. libgxps is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 2.1 of the License, or (at your option) any later version. [Bug 951139] Re: [FFe] Please include libarchive 3.0.3-6 from Debian unstable
I've set up a test ppa to check whether packages fail or build: https://launchpad.net/~medigeek/+archive/libarchive-experimental/+packages At the moment, 3 packages failed. I should've waited for cmake-data (i386) to be built first, but I uploaded all of the packages. 2 failed for this reason and I'll try the build tomorrow. However 1 failed with this error: /build/buildd/gmameui-0.2.12/src/gmameui-zip-utils.c:94: undefined reference to `archive_read_data_into_buffer' - that was expected, provided that the gmameui has not seen a new version since 2009: http://gmameui.sourceforge.net/ There's an easy fix for this one: (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gm/gmameui/PKGBUILD) # archive_read_data_into_buffer() is deprecated in libarchive /bin/sed -i 's/archive_read_data_into_buffer/archive_read_data/' src/gmameui-zip-utils.c There is some documentation to patch the packages to use the new format: https://github.com/libarchive/libarchive/wiki/Libarchive3 - I sure hope that none of the other packages fail. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/951139 Title: [FFe] Please include libarchive 3.0.3-6 from Debian unstable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libarchive/+bug/951139/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
