I am not sure this is a bug or not. When I launch banshee its windows
shows up for a blink then disappears. Checked processes list using ps
but didn't find banshee running, then I launched banshee in terminal and

mounting that shared folder or skipping it if error occurs with a
warning message. In recovery boot mode it should continue to the
recovery menu even if an error occurred.

both worked, pressing S skipps mounting the shared folder, I have to
mount it manually after finishing boot, and pressing M drops to root
shell so its possible to resume boot later.
Still the shared folder isn't mounted automatically.

I confirm this bug doesn't exist in Lucid, I tested it on Lucid alpha3,

I installed the kernel Andreas mentioned 2.6.32-14.19 , and after 4 days
of uptime I rebooted, everything worked just fine.
I hope this means that this bug is fixed, and get it fixed in Karmic too

I tried the kernel Andreas suggested to me , and rebooted the pc after 6
days of uptime, it worked fine.
- Can I continue using that kernel? or I should revert back to Karmic kernel?

I have two hard drives, /dev/sda (has Windows and Hardy) and /dev/sdb (empty),
I did a fresh install of a daily build of Karmic (27th of Oct.). During setup I
have been prompted to install GRUB and I hit OK, apparently it has installed
GRUB2 on
the kernel line in grub.cfg should look like this

and in menu.lst

I tried daily build of AlternativeCD 27th of Oct. the same error came up
and repeated for 5 seconds and then Xorg started with full acceleration,
but didn't detect all my screen resolutions, only 800x...@60hz. I am
using Hewlett Packard Monitor 20inch model : hp p 1230.

I tried Karmic daily build AlternateCD 27th of Oct. and those two issues
has been fixed, it loaded faster like legacy grub and it detected all my
installtion
May be those issues happened because I installed it on top of legacy
grub of hardy (without uninstalling legacy grub first)

The msg disappeared , yet Xorg didn't start, and the monitor went to

msgs of unmounting and stopping services ...etc which means
