We tried building our custom kernel snap that would include this module,
unfortunately, this error is encountered since last week when trying to
build it.

Thanks, ogra pointed me to the /pending subdirectory for images. I installed
the latest one and gstreamer can actually detect v4l2h264 decoding capabilities
there.
Unfortunate that it does not work on 18 though.

I guess I will have to build an image with my own assertion, as ubuntu's
images are in fact from May and image does not boot if I refresh the
kernel. Will update if it does not work once I make it myself.

I tried refreshing to the edge kernel but then an image would not boot.
For 18 I had built an image from an assertion containing kernel: pi-

core 18 - I only tried the snap on 20 to make sure it does not work

No network connection after upgrade of 16.04 arm
Syslog attached. And, yes, I split that line up like you suggested and
there is still no eth0 interface. If you need more you can just ping me
on IRC. Might be faster that way.

Hi Jamie. I think I might have put a wrong tag on the bug since I am running in
devmode. And there are no related denials as well.
Just additional detail about bug though - I built snappy only image with latest
kernel and gadget and installed the same snap there. This issue is not present
