After several months of at least weekly use, I have run into this bug on
feisty, so it's still there on feisty, but much less frequent.
Unfortunately I didn't get a core dump, but it was definitely a seg
fault.

The followed crash occurred after connecting to IGS (the default
server), watching a number of games (20) and then walking away.
When I returned, there many of the games had finished and the game
windows for each of these were trying to open a modal dialog. I hit OK

I have just installed edgy on a laptop (Dell d620) and qgo now starts
successfully, but on start up the following messages are displayed:

It appears to work for me. I don't really know enough about PAM, krb5 or
AFS to know whether this is a fix for everyone everywhere.
In particular, this situation tends to renew the AFS frequently, which
may be an issue.

Full explanation of the problem for those not familiar with krb5 use
with X:
Scenario: User logins in to X using krb5. Login generates TGT (ticket
granting ticket) with a current timestamp with a (usually) 6-24 hour
expiry time. The TGT is used to get read/write permissions to the
kerberised AFS
I've attempted to compile the CVS version to confirm whether the fix
works, but failed because of autoconf errors. The current error message
is:
