I consider this broken, not a bug. Is anyone still working on this project; this is still not fixed four years later. Has anyone done anything with this? Seriously, Microsoft has been able to have this built in since Windows XP. Additionally, Linux now has a way of defining universal default

Does this need to be ran as root or with sudo? I was trying to activate the ATI/AMD proprietary FGLRX graphics driver (post-release updates) while the same one without the post-release updates was already activate. When I ran sudo jockey-kde in a command shell, it asked me if I wanted to forget

It is a bug if there is not a global setting and application settings that will be obeyed. For instance, always show hidden files should show hidden files unless there is an application setting. An application should always be able to override the global setting unless it does not have that
