Especially if one wants to streamline software maintenance on multiple servers and goes with the default recommends, this adds 54 megabytes (incl. emacs), which on my servers is around 20% of disk space. Changing the screen 2 to be a secondary screen does absolutely nothing. I can't press test, and I can press OK, at which point it asks if I want to keep the settings, but nothing happens. The same even if I set it to be a default screen, although then it doesn't even ask if I want to keep the settings. Also, if I set screen 2 to be e.g. Monitor 1024x768, I can only set resolution to 640x480 and refresh rate to 60 Hz. I have to save the settings and press OK and re-open displayconfig-gtk to get to choose any resolution bigger. Public bug reported: Sometimes the ACPI in the latest Feisty seems to malfunction, so my screen brightness is set to minimum, and even if I try to brighten the screen using Fn-Home it brightens it, the Ubuntu brightness meter comes on-screen, and the system seems to reset the brightness immediately back to the minimum. I dist-upgraded just now, 2007-02-08. I've set my screen brightness to the maximum when plugged in, and 75% when on battery. When I have multi-line cells with many lines of text with different
lines hand-separated by line breaks, openoffice.org often during editing
removes the line breaks. Also, even though openoffice.org seems to
support line breaks inside cells, there seems to be no way of inserting
them except by copy-pasting from someplace else.
Then, perhaps another bug or maybe not, when these cells start with a
dash, even though the cells are being used for text and were previously
prefixed by an apostrophe ('), openoffice.org sometimes decides that the
cells must contain an equation instead, so it clears all the line
breaks, lowercases the text, prefixes the cell data with an equals to
-sign (=) and displays #NAME? as the contents.

You have to register by hand again. Also, if I start it when my links are down, it doesn't know how to start the listeners. [Bug 68037] DHCP client doesn't react to link state changes
Public bug reported: I think the DHCP client only runs upon startup. So if I boot my computer up, and then plug my network cable in to eth0, it doesn't retry with the DHCP client when the link finally comes up. I have to wait until the DHCP retry begins. Also, and I guess this is another bug, but it tries to fetch an address even if the link state is down, both on ethernet and WLAN.
