Title:
[zesty] dkms nvidia
I haven't this problem. I have the two directories :
/usr/src/linux-headers-4.10.0-7-generic/
/usr/src/linux-headers-4.10.0-7/
All the syslinks in /usr/src/linux-headers-4.10.0-7-generic/ point to
/usr/src/linux-headers-4.10.0-7/
And the /var/lib/dkms/nvidia-378/378.09/build/make.log talks
It was the same error with the kernel 4.10.0-6.
It works with the kernel 4.9.0-15

[zesty] dkms nvidia error with linux-headers-4.10.0-7
Public bug reported:
On Zesty, x64, I can't install the nvidia-378 driver with the new kernel
4.10.0-7 due to a dkms error.

Hello,
I have the same bug. It also seemed to me that it worked randomly
something like 5 to 10% of the time.
After some use it now seems to me that it always works if I shift-click on the
first line of a text block, e.g.:
- first line of a paragraph
- first line after a displayed formula
-
To complete Alkis point: as one need to setup also the server
rsyslog.conf, I don't see why default SYSLOG is true.

Manny Vindiola's version solved my problem, but when using rdesktop with
-k fr option caps-lock work but it is inverted (on = lower case
letters, off = upper case letters). Removing that option, everything
works well.

Bugs,
Sorry, I forgot something:
when I remove the -k fr option, my complete rdesktop command is:
rdesktop -K -N -P -z -x m -r clipboard:yes -T title [ip]
using only rdesktop [ip] it works like with the -k fr option (inverted
caps-lock)

I have the same boot problem with Thincans client and Ubuntu 10.04:
can't boot with nbi.img. Was working previously with Debian Lenny. Funny
is that Thincans are those coreboot based thin clients made by Artec who
requested the switch to mkelfimage instead of mknbi...
